It’s a creative, educational clock for kids aged 6 and up. The kit is composed of a cardboard box A3 paper size (29.7 x 42.0cm, or 11.69 x 16.53 inches) and 40 mm (1.57 inches) in thickness and a set of black and neon colored laces. The cardboard has a dial painted on one side and sets of pre-punched holes, thus making a lacing card designed to be threaded with the laces. The reverse contains a guide which when removed and sewn together by the child transforms into an instructional booklet. The booklet can also be used as a practice card to enhance the child’s embroidery skills and develop their fine motor skills at the same time. The pre-punched holes on the dial, as well as the instructions, propose sewing the numbers to make them resemble an electronic display. They have been placed on the face of an analog clock deliberately to highlight the difference between the two types of timepieces. It can also serve as inspiration for creative educational workshops featuring the DIY DIGITAL CLOCK®.
